Once locked, only the evidence manager can access the compartment using their RFID card. After retrieving the evidence, the compartment becomes available for subsequent use. Pass-Through Evidence Lockers are built into a wall, connecting a secure evidence room to a long-term storage area. They offer separate points for evidence deposit and retrieval. Officers deposit evidence in the secure room, while the evidence manager collects it from the long-term storage area at the rear of the lockers. The rear side of the lockers is secured with a single keyed security gate, ensuring convenient access.
